Mark Von Thaden was born in 1969 and has lived in California for almost 33 years. Growing up in Loomis Ca. Mark was surrounded by culture. His Mother owns a dance studio (you guessed it - GreenTree Studio) and at age 17 he was asked by his mother to help out at one of her performances that did not have any sound equipment. being 17, he was into loud stereos and indeed had a very nice stereo in his room. Mark packed up his stereo and off to the performance he went. After the performance a person approached him and asked if he could play music at their performance as well and to help him out they would be willing to pay him. Mark accepted and the rest is history. Mark went on to put himself through broadcasting school and dabbled in radio but found that politics played a central roll in radio and Mark did not like this so at the suggestion of his friends he went back into the Mobile DJ business. Mark's love for music and his ability to "read a crowd" has helped his business flourish. His business has grown from generic sound gear that weighed a ton and speakers that were bigger then the average car to state of the art equipment able to handle the largest of crowds. His light show went from a single strobe light and a mirrored ball to a light show that surpasses most of the local clubs. Mark still believes that he is not the most important part of your special day, you are, and he will do everything he can to make your day run a smoothly as possible. Mark believes that a good DJ does not have to cost a fortune and has be quoted as saying "I am always going to a party where people are having fun, it is kind of hard to charge someone an arm and a leg for that."

Mark has split his life into three parts. The first part is being the DJ business, the second part is his family and the third part is his love for helping people. With a wife and three children, the DJ business, a new older house and a full time job as an Emergency Medical Technician at a local casino, Mark somehow still finds time to have several hobbies and still get some sleep on occasion.
