The 2011-2012 Officers for the GreenTree Children's Ballet Company are;

President - Katie Hardin

Vice President - Nancy Von Thaden

Secretary - Debra Byrd

Treasurer - Bill Von Thaden

Well, It's Official - The GreenTree Children's Ballet Company is going to try to put on a performance of Hansel and Gretel.

Below is a letter from the new secretary, Debra Byrd. This can only happen if enough students try out for the production, so tell all of your dancing friends!

Hi everyone,

We had our meeting this morning (Sat. 11/5/11) with Rebecca and Pauline and Bill in attendance among others. It was a unanimous decision to continue operating the GreenTree Children's ballet company, With Rebecca running the rehearsals every other Saturday, that is the 1st and 3rd  Saturday of each month at 10:00, for approx three hours. We will be doing excerpts of fairy tales, performing at the schools to avoid the cost of renting the theater.

We may do a large performance for parents at the end of the year.

We will still have short mandatory parent meetings before rehearsals on the 1st Saturday of each month.

We also decided that there will be no limit of age 16 on the dancers.

There will be a sign up sheet in the lobby on Monday for the dancers.

 The first practice - evaluation will be next Saturday, Nov 12th at 11:00.If this too short of notice for you to be their on Nov 12th but would still like to participate call Katie Hardin and let her know at 530-745-0636. Or if you have any questions.
